Lola Buono holds a PhD in Medical Physiopathology from the Molecular Biotechnology Center of Turin and an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs.  

Prior to starting her career in venture capital with Claris Ventures, Lola gained deep experience as a biomedical researcher at the Molecular Biotechnology Center of Turin and the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Lola's research focused on unraveling the complexities of cancer and tissue regeneration through the study of novel therapeutic targets and innovative treatment modalities. 

In her role at Angelini Ventures as Investment Associate for Biotech sectors, Lola will be supporting the growth and impact of our Life Sciences portfolio. 

Outside of her professional pursuits, Lola is an avid sailor and passionate diver, finding solace and inspiration in the depths of the ocean.
